Apply to adopt
Adoption saves lives. When you adopt a cat from a rescue, you are not only saving one life, but two. Leaving an open spot for another kitty in need.
Adoption Procedures
Complete an adoption application. Please try not to leave any blanks. If you don’t have an answer to a question, please just respond with “N/A.”
Call your veterinarian and give permission for them to speak with a rescue.
Should your application be considered after the veterinary reference, a virtual home visit will be scheduled.
The adoption process could take up to 10 days - if you do not hear from a volunteer within this time frame, please understand that your application was not considered. We do our best to match our cats with the right fit for them.
You must be a Connecticut resident & at least 21 years of age to be considered for adoption. At this time, we are unable to facilitate out of state adoptions.
Adoption Donations (Fees)
All of our adoptable cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated against Rabies & Feline Distemper, tested for FIV/FeLV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus & Feline Leukemia), microchipped & treated for intestinal parasites prior to adoption.
The adoption donation (fee) helps us offset the cost of veterinary care.
